Privacy policy
This page explains enquiries, essential website functions and optional analytics on the Mirion Builders Limited website.
Information you send us
If you use our enquiry form, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, postcode and project description. We use those details to respond to your enquiry and discuss building work.
How the website works
Submitted enquiries are stored in the website system and may be sent to the Mirion Builders enquiry email address. The form uses a third-party CAPTCHA service to help prevent automated abuse; that service may process technical information as described in its own privacy policy.
Optional analytics
Optional analytics are off until you allow them. You can reject them or change your choice here at any time, without affecting browsing or sending an enquiry.
If you allow analytics, we use PostHog to understand page visits, navigation and use of the enquiry form. Depending on the configured features, this can include interaction events and session replay, along with browser, device and page information. Browser and session identifiers are pseudonymous personal data, not proof of who someone is or whether an enquiry is suitable.
When analytics are allowed, the enquiry-processing event can use those browser and session identifiers to connect a processed form with the visit. That event records field names, not the values you entered. If the analytics script is unavailable but your saved choice still allows analytics, the server may count the processed form without linking it to a browser session. Without a valid Allow choice, or after Reject, it does not send that event.
Reject stops optional capture in newly loaded pages and is communicated to other open pages where the browser supports it. A page also rechecks your choice when you return to it and periodically while open. Withdrawing does not recall information already sent. If configured, Google Analytics follows the same Allow choice; it is not loaded before that choice.
We save your choice in the first-party mirion_analytics_consent cookie for up to 180 days. It holds a signed preference and expiry information, not an analytics browser or session identifier. It is used to remember and enforce your choice even if an analytics script is blocked. A missing, expired or invalid choice keeps analytics off.
When you reject, the site attempts to clear known first-party analytics identifier cookies. An already loaded SDK also disables its persistence. If a script is blocked, old SDK-managed browser storage may remain; the site does not load that script just to clear it. You can also remove site storage through your browser settings.
You have not allowed optional analytics.
